Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of the active painless nursing mode for the elderly patients with femoral fracture in the perioperative period. Methods Totally 72 elderly patients with femoral fracture and treated in our hospital between February and December 2017 were selected, and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, each of 36. The control group received routine nursing care during the perioperative period of femoral fracture, while the experimental group was provided with painless nursing. After the intervention, both groups were evaluated using the visual analogue scale (VAS) and their function of the joint was observed. Results After the intervention, the VAS score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (t=-9.701, P<0.001), while the function of the joint was significantly better than the latter (χ2=4.126, P=0.042). Conclusion The application of the active painless nursing significantly relieves the pain and improve the rehabilitation of the elderly patients with femoral fracture.
