Application of nursing improvement project in reducing the incidence of diarrhea of enteral nutrition patients

Abstract：Objective To reduce the incidence of diarrhea of enteral nutrition patients by the nursing improving project. Methods A special team of the nursing improving project was set up to investigate the incidence of diarrhea of enteral nutrition patients treated in our hospital between March and May 2017. The incidence was found to be 42.86％. Then the reason was analyzed, and counter measures were made and implemented. Results The incidence was lowered to 28.57％, which had met the preset target. Conclusion The project can effectively lower the incidence of diarrhea of enteral nutrition patients, and improve the comfort and satisfaction of the hospitalized patients.
