Application effect of self-diet management fine support model in hemodialysis patients

Abstract：Objective To observe the effect of applying the self-diet management fine support model in hemodialysis patients. Methods Totally 70 patients receiving maintenance hemodialysis between March 2017 and February 2018 were selected and randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group, each of 35, according to a random number table. The control group received the routine dietary intervention, while the experimental group was provided with the intervention based on the self-diet management fine support model. The knowledge, attitude and process (KAP) of the hemodialysis diet and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The KAP and nursing satisfaction of the experimental group were significantly higher than the control group. Conclusion Adopting the self-diet management fine support model can significantly promote the KAP and nursing satisfaction of patients with the maintenance hemodialysis.
