Improving the nutrition support of senile COPD patients through quality control circle activities

Abstract:Objective To explore improving the nutrition support of elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) through quality control circle activities.Methods A quality control circle group was set up and to improve the nutrition support of elderly patients with COPD was chosen as the theme.The reasons for low nutrition support were analyzed, and countermeasures were put forwards and implemented.The nutrition support efficiency was compared before and after the intervention.Results The nutrition support efficiency increased from 26.67% to 63.33% after the intervention (Z=-3.979, P<0.001).Conclusion Quality control circle activities promote the nutrition support efficiency among elderly patients with COPD.
