Effects of cluster nursing on postoperative complications and life quality of bladder ostmomy patients in outpatient department

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of cluster nursing on postoperative complications and life quality of bladder ostmomy patients.Methods Seventy patients receiving bladder ostmomy in our hospital between January 2013 and December 2015 were selected and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,each of 35.The control group was given conventional postoperative nursing, while the observation group was provided with cluster nursing. The complications and the quality of life were compared between the two groups at 2 months after the operation.Results The incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.001).The average life quality score of the observation group was (89.75±6.11),significantly higher than the control group (75.98±6.08).Conclusion Cluster nursing in the outpatient department can significantly reduce postoperative complications, and improve the life quality of patients with bladder ostmomy.
