Abstract:Objective To study the effect of low frequency pulse stimulation combined with pelvic floor biofeedback treatment in promoting postpartum pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation, and discuss its supporting nursing measures,so as to guide postpartum health care. Methods Eighty healthy primiparas with natural childbirth between January and June 2014 were selected, and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, each of 40.The control group was given pelvic floor muscles training in addition to routine nursing, while the observation group was treated with low frequency pulse stimulation combined with pelvic floor biofeedback for 2 months. Then the recovery of pelvic floor muscle strength, pelvic organ prolapse and sexual life quality of the two groups were compared. Results The recovery of the pelvic floor muscle strength in the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group. The incidence of pelvic organ prolapse of the former was lower than that of the control group, while the average female sexual function index score was significantly higher than that of the control group. Conclusions Low frequency pulse stimulation combined with pelvic floor biofeedback treatment can effectively promote the recovery of pelvic floor muscle strength.
