Effects of improved anesthetic method in transesophageal ultrasound guided surgery and the nursing

Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of giving anesthesia medication in an improved method,and summarize nursing experience in the process of the examination.Methods One hundred patients to receive routine transesophageal echocardiography examination were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group,each of 50,according to a random number table.For the control group,the tetracaine was administered using a watering can,while the topical anesthesia was given to the observation group using the tetracaine mucilage.The anesthesia effect, postoperative complications and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were observed and compared. Results The success anesthesia rate and nursing satisfaction of the observation group were significantly higher than that of the control group.The leading times, checking duration and complication rate of the former group were significantly lower or shorter than that of the control group.Conclusions The modified anesthesia method is superior to the traditional method,with higher success rate and less postoperative complications.Considerate nursing can effectively improve patients'comfort and nursing satisfaction.
