Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of self-service lower limb training on promoting postoperative rehabilitation of patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture. Methods Totally 180 patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each of 90.The former was given function training guided by primary nurses, while the latter was provided with self-service rehabilitation training. Then the recovery of knee joint and muscle force,as well as patients′ satisfaction and compliance were evaluated and compared between the two groups. Results After the treatment, the recovery of knee joint, compliance and satisfaction of the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group. On the 4th and 7th day after the operation and the day before discharge, more patients could manage knees hip flexion, foot back extensor plantar flexion and quadriceps contraction in the observation group than that in the control group. However, the occurrence of complications was significantly lower in the former than the latter group. Conclusion Self-service lower limb training can significantly accelerate the recovery of patients with the femoral intertrochanteric fractures.
