A efficiency analysis of therapeutical communication system on negative emotion and coping style of patients with stroke

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of therapeutical communication system on negative emotion of stroke survivors .Methods Totally 120 stroke patients were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group ,each of 60 .The control group was given routine nursing care and routine communication ,while the experimental group was additionally provided with nursing intervention based on therapeutical communication system .Both groups were evaluated using symptom check-list 90 table (SCL-90)and trait coping style questionnaire (TCSQ) .Results No significant differences were found in all measurements between the 2 groups at their admission . After the intervention , the scores of all factors in the SCL-90 of the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group .The score of the positive coping style in TCSQ of the experimental group was higher than that in the control group ,and the negative coping style was lower than the latter . Conclusion Therapeutical communication system can effectively relieve negative emotion of stroke survivors ,optimize their coping style and improve nursing quality .
