Effects of cluster nursing on psychological status of threatened abortion patients with several abortions

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of cluster nursing on psychological status of patients with threatened abortion for multiple times .Methods Eighty patients with a history of repeated threatened abortions were selected and randomly divided into an intervention group and a control group with 40 cases in each .The patients in the control group were given routine nursing , while the intervention group was provided with cluster nursing .Before and 5 days after nursing , both groups were assessed using the symptom checklist-90 (SCL-90 ) ,depression self rating scale (SDS) and self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) .Results After nursing ,the scores of somatization , anxiety and depression dimension in SCL-90 decreased for both groups compared to before the nursing ,but the decrease was more significant in the intervention .It was the same case in the scores of SDS and SAS .Conclusion The cluster nursing care is helpful to change the negative psychology and better the prognosis of patients with threatened abortions .
