The application of self management mode in family intervention of children with asthma

Abstract：Objective To observe the clinical effect of applying the self management mode in children with asthma and its effect on family intervention .Methods A total of 104 children in asthma remission stage were selected and randomly divided into a control group of 50 cases and an observation group of 54 cases , according to a random number table . The control group received routine nursing , while the observation group was given family intervention based on self management mode .The clinical control ,self-management and symptom improvement of the two groups were observed and compared . Results During the follow-up of 6 months , the asthma attacks ,times of emergency treatment and hospitalization , as well as the treatment cost of the observation group were significantly lower than the control group ,while the increase in the daily life management , medical management , management of social psychology scores , as well as somatization , obsessive-ompulsive symptoms , interpersonal sensitivity , depression , anxiety and terror feeling of the former were significantly higher than the latter . Conclusion The implementation of family intervention based on self management can effectively improve the control of children's asthma remission period ,promote the life quality of asthma children and their families , and reduce the rate of recurrence of asthma .
