Abstract:Objective To study the effect of evidence-based nursing on pregnancy outcomes and life quality of patients with repeated in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET ) failures .Methods Totally 204 IVF-ET patients with repeated failures were randomly divided into an observation group(n=104) given evidence-based nursing and a control group (n= 100 ) provided with routine nursing . The pregnancy outcome and life quality were compared between the two groups .Results The HCG positive rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group ,while the abortion rate of the former was lower than the latter .The scores of the four dimensions of life quality ,including physical health ,psychological health ,social health and global health of the former were higher than the latter . Conclusion Evidence-based nursing is helpful to improve pregnancy outcome and life quality for IVF-ET patients with repeated failures .
