Abstract:Objective To compare artificial airway humidification effects of two different concentrations of sodium chloride solution , to find a better concentrations of sodium chloride solution .Methods Medline ,Embase ,the Cochrane Library ,CBM ,CNKI ,Wanfang ,VIP and other databases were searched to find out related literature in recent 10 years ,and their references were collected .The clinical control studies about artificial airway humidification with 0 .45% sodium chloride solution or 0 .9% sodium chloride solution were chosen . Two researchers evaluated the quality of included studies . M eta‐analysis and data processing w ere done in the Rev M an 5 .0 software .Results Ten clinical control studies included 650 cases were collected in our study .The airway humidification effect with 0 .45% sodium chloride solution was similar with that with 0 .9%sodium chloride solution ,the risk ratio (RR) was 1 .21(0 .99 ,1 .50) .The adverse events rate of airway humidification with 0 .45% sodium chloride solution was lower than that with 0 .9% sodium chloride solution ,and the sputum bacteria ratio was also lower than that with 0 .9% sodium chloride solution .Conclusion Artificial airway humidification with 0 .45% sodium chloride solution can reduce adverse events rate .
