Effects of supportive care on quality of life in patients wi th gynecological malignant tumor

Abstract：Objective To study the effects of supportive care on quality of life in patients with gynecological malignant tumor .Methods Sixty-four patients with gynecological malignant tumor were randomly divided into intervention group (n= 32) and control group (n= 32) .The control group was given conventional care ,the intervention group was given supportive care on the basis of routine nursing .The EORTC QLQ-C 30 scale was used to surveye patients′quality of life .Results There was no statistical significance in scores of quality of life between 2 groups ,before intervention . After intervention , the factor scores of EQRTC QLQ-C 30 scale in the intervention group were higher than that in the control group ,except economic difficulty factor .Conclusion Supportive care can improve the quality of life of patients with gynecological malignant tumor .
