Application enlightenment of two kinds of hip intramuscular injection methods in clinical practic

Abstract：Objective To study the influence of 2 kinds of hip intramuscular injection on the drug absorption .Methods 83 patients with organophosphorus pesticide poisoning from June 2011 to May 2012 were given intramuscular injection on bilateral hips turns principle . The left hip was injected into the gluteus maximus .The right hip was injected into the gluteus medius .The skin swelling of different injection sites were compared at 72h after injection . Results 62 cases of intramuscular injection on gluteus maximus were swollen ,21 cases were markedly swollen .79 cases of intramuscular injection on gluteus medius were swollen , 4 cases were markedly swollen . Conclusion Intramuscular injection on the medius gluteal can improve the effect of liquid absorption .
