Effects of nasal feeding with traditional Chinese medicine to gastrointestinal function of gallstone pancreatitis patients after T tube drainage

Abstract:Objective To study of nasal feeding with traditional Chinese medicine to gastrointestinal function of gallstone pancreatitis patients after cholecystectomy ,choledocholithotomy and T tube drainage . Methods 54 patients with T-tube drainage were randomly divided into treatment group (n=27) and control group (n=27) .The treatment group was given nasal feeding with Xingqihuoxue traditional Chinese medicine . The control group was given nasal feeding with physiological saline .They were both treated for 3 days .Results The recovery time of bowel sound , anal exhaust time for the first time , the first defecation time of the treatment group were significantly shorter than those of the control group .Conclusion Nasal feeding traditional Chinese medicine can promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function after T-tube drainage .Proper nursing is helpful to the early postoperative intestinal protection for medicine and nutrition , and have important significance to the rehabilitation of patients .
