Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of nursing intervention in patients with chronic pharyngitis treated with atomization inhalation. Methods A total of 30 patients with chronic pharyngitis admitted from January 2018 to October 2023 were selected and divided by double-blind method into a control group(15 cases, routine nursing care)and an observation group(15 cases, comprehensive nursing care). The two groups were comparable in general data(P>0.05).Symptom scores, anxiety, quality of life, incidence of oral ulcers, and satisfaction were compared. Results The observation group showed lower symptom scores[throat itching:(0.52±0.14)vs(1.65±0.58),anxiety scores:(22.34±4.08)vs(35.80±6.27)],lower incidence of oral ulcers(6.67%vs 40.00%),higher quality of life score[(95.52±6.39)vs(75.48±5.21)],and higher satisfaction(100.00%vs 66.67%)compared with the control group(all P<0.01).Conclusion Comprehensive nursing care can effectively improve symptoms, alleviate anxiety, and enhance quality of life and satisfaction in chronic pharyngitis patients undergoing atomization treatment.
