Application of comfortable nursing care in patients with foreign body removal from pharynx and larynx under fiberoptic laryngoscope

Abstract：Objective To analyze the effect of comfortable nursing care in patients with foreign body removal from pharynx and larynx under fiberoptic laryngoscope.Methods From January 2023 to December 2023,72 patients with pharyngeal foreign body removal under fiberoptic laryngoscopy were selected in the study.According to different nursing modes,they were divided into control group(routine nursing)and observation group(comfortable nursing),36 cases each,to compare their effects.Results The nursing satisfaction of observation group(100.00%)was higher than that of control group(86.11%)(χ2=5.373,P=0.020).The removal time of foreign bodies in observation group was(2.25±0.28)min,which was shorter than(4.54±1.12)min in control group(t=11.902,P=0.000).The incidence of adverse reactions in observation group(0.00%)was lower than that in control group(11.11%)(χ2=4.235,P=0.040).Conclusion Compared with routine care,comfortable nursing care is superior in improving procedural efficiency and patient outcomes during fiberoptic laryngoscopic foreign body removal,suggesting its clinical adoption.
