Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effects of betahistine mesylate combined with vestibular rehabilitation training on vertigo,VAS score, and balance function in patients with otolith.Method Randomly divide into two groups, with a control group of 30 patients with otolith treated with betamethasone. The observation group received medication treatment combined with vestibular rehabilitation training, and the effects of different intervention methods were compared. Results Following treatment, the observation group showed a significantly better therapeutic outcome compared to the control group, with a statistically significant difference(96.67%vs 80.00%,χ2=3.543,P<0.05).The level of dizziness in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Additionally,the VAS score in the observation group was notably lower than in the control group(P<0.05).Patients in the observation group exhibited superior balance function compared to those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Betahistine mesylate combined with vestibular rehabilitation training can improve treatment effectiveness, improve vestibular symptoms, reduce the degree of dizziness, promote the improvement of balance function in patients, and have an ideal prognosis. It is worth promoting.
