Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of fluconazole injection in the treatment of fungal infections in the ear, nose and throat. Methods With a random number table generated by the SPSS software,82 patients with fungal infections in the ear, nose or throat at Yangxin Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2022 to June 2023 were divided into conventional group(41 cases, with conventional treatment)and treatment group(41 cases, with conventional treatment+fluconazole injection in topical treatment). The two groups were compared through the clinical curative effect, inflammation index and adverse reactions. Results The overall response rate of the treatment group was 95.12%,80.49%higher than that in the conventional group. The recurrence rate of follow-up at 6 months in the treatment group(0.00%)was lower than that in the conventional group(14.63%,χ2=4.100,4.496,P<0.05).Levels of procalcitonin,C-reactive protein and interleukin 6 of the treatment group were Lower than those of the conventional group[(0.67±0.25)ng/L vs(0.85±0.21)ng/L,(7.67±2.86)mg/L vs(9.65±2.47)mg/L,and(1.18±0.16)ng/L vs(1.34±0.44)ng/L,respectively,t=2.188-3.530,P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was 4.88%,slightly lower than the 9.76%in the conventional group(χ2=0.180,P>0.05).Conclusion Fluconazole injection has certain local safety, and its rational use in the treatment of fungal infections in the ear, nose and throat is conducive to reducing inflammation, eliminating symptoms, improving efficacy and reducing recurrence rate.
