Abstract:Objective To explore the therapeutic measures and application effects of integrated Chinese and Western medicine after thyroid cancer surgery. Methods 156 patients with thyroid cancer, who received surgical treatment in our hospital from October 2020 to December 2023,were selected as the study subjects, and were divided into observation group(76 cases, with combined treatment of Chinese and Western medicine),and control group(80 cases, with Western medicine treatment),to compare the treatment effect. Results Compared with the control group, the observation group had significantly lower TG level(after treatment)[(1.27±0.49)mmol/L vs(1.52±0.56)mmol/L,P<0.05].In comparison of immune function indicators(after treatment),the levels of CD 3+(80.21±5.09)%,CD 4+(47.29±4.87)%and CD 4+/CD 8+(1.63±0.37)of the observation group were higher than those of the control group[(75.64±6.43)%,(41.06±5.22)%and(1.40±0.51),respectively,P<0.05].The score of dry mouth and dry throat, palpitation score as well as fever and hypersweating score in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of integrated Chinese and Western medicine therapy in the postoperative rehabilitation of thyroid cancer patients can effectively relieve the hyperthyroidism of patients, reduce the discomfort of patients, and accelerate the recovery of physical functions.
