Clinical efficacy and pharmacodynamic analysis of Kangfuxin liquid combined with dexamethasone nebulization in the treatment of chronic pharyngitis

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Kangfuxin liquid combined with dexamethasone in the treatment of chronic pharyngitis patients.Methods Eighty patients with chronic pharyngitis admitted to our hospital from December 2021 to December 2023 were included.All subjects were randomly divided into a control group(40 cases,treated with gentamicin+dexamethasone sodium phosphate and chymotrypsin)and an observation group(40 cases,treated with Kangfuxin solution+dexamethasone)using a random number table method.The treatment efficiency,symptom disappearance time,inflammatory factors,and immune function between the groups were evaluated.Results The treatment efficiency of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(95.00%vs 70.00%,P<0.05).The various clinical symptom relief times in the observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group[(5.3±1.2)d vs(7.7±2.3)d for dry and itchy throat,(3.0±1.0)d vs(4.0±1.4)d for hoarse voice,(3.7±0.4)d vs(4.7±0.8)d for foreign body sensation,and(3.0±0.2)d vs(3.8±0.6)d for throat obstruction,all P<0.05].The improvements of inflammatory factors and immune function in the observation group were significantly greater than those of the control group[(114.52±15.40)ng/L vs(124.56±16.35)ng/L for TNF-α,(138.54±18.23)ng/L vs(165.23±19.25)ng/L for IL-6,(38.56±4.63)%vs(34.26±4.05)%for CD4+T cells,(28.54±6.32)%vs(26.05±4.23)%for CD8+T cells,and(1.40±0.33)vs(1.21±0.22)for CD4+/CD8+T cells,all P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with conventional medication regimens,Kangfuxin liquid+dexamethasone therapy can take effect in a shorter time,improve patient throat discomfort symptoms,reduce patient inflammatory factor levels,promote immune function enhancement,and achieve better clinical efficacy.
