Nursing study in the treatment of chronic pharyngitis with budesonide suspension

Abstract：Objective To analyze the high-quality nursing intervention method in the treatment of chronic pharyngitis patients with budesonide suspension.Methods 100 patients with chronic pharyngitis from August 2022 to September 2023 were selected and all were treated with budesonide suspension.Among them,50 cases receiving routine care were set as group A,and 50 cases receiving high-quality care were set as group B.The duration of symptoms,nursing efficiency and clinical compliance of the two groups were compared.Results In comparison of the duration of symptoms,the durations for pharyngeal symptoms[(2.1±0.5)d vs(3.8±1.0)d,t=8.42,P<0.05],dry cough[(3.8±0.7)d vs(5.3±1.7)d,t=5.68,P<0.05],sputum accumulation[(2.7±0.7)d vs(3.9±1.1)d,t=6.35,P<0.05]and overall symptoms[(6.0±1.2)d vs(8.3±1.7)d,t=9.71,P<0.05]in group B were significantly shorter than those in group A.The total effective rate and significant efficiency of group B were 96.00%and 46.0%,respectively,both higher than those of group A(70.00%and 26.00%,respectively)(P<0.05).The nursing effect of group B was in line with expectations.The compliance of group B was higher than that of group A(98.00%vs 84.00%,χ2=8.91,P<0.05).Conclusion During the administration of budesonide suspension in patients with chronic pharyngitis,the use of high-quality nursing intervention mode can promote the rapid disappearance of symptoms,improve recovery efficiency,resulting in higher nursing efficiency,better patient compliance,and significant implementation effect.
