Abstract:Enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)is a surgical concept aimed at optimizing perioperative management to reduce physiological and psychological trauma and stress in patients, thereby promoting postoperative recovery and shortening hospital stays.Initially emerging in the field of cardiac surgery, the ERAS concept has since expanded to general surgery, particularly in the management of colorectal cancer patients. However, there remains limited clinical research both domestically and internationally on the application of ERAS principles in the perioperative care of laryngeal cancer patients. This paper reviews the research findings of several scholars, summarizing recent advancements in the perioperative application of ERAS in laryngeal cancer patients through interventions such as psychological support, respiratory function training, reduced preoperative fasting time, multimodal analgesia, and swallowing rehabilitation. The review aims to provide evidence-based references for the clinical implementation and broader adoption of ERAS in this field.
