Effect of levofloxacin ear drops combined with cefuroxime axetil in the treatment of otitis media

Abstract：Objective To observe and analyze the effect of cefuroxime axetil combined with levofloxacin ear drops in the treatment of otitis media.Methods 72 patients with otitis media from January 2022 to August 2023 were selected and divided into control group(levofloxacin ear drops)and observation group(cefuroxime axetil combined with levofloxacin ear drops)by random number table method,and the application effect was compared.Results The clinical effect of observation group was better than that of control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in observation group was lower than that in control group(P<0.05).Before intervention,there was no difference in TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-8 inflammatory indexes between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention,the inflammatory indexes of TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-8 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of cefuroxime axetil combined with levofloxacin ear drops in the treatment of otitis media has obvious therapeutic effect,effectively improving the condition of patients,reducing the incidence of adverse reactions,highlighting its application value,and can be further promoted.
