Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical effect of nasal irrigation with hypertonic saline on patients with gestational rhinitis.Method The study subjects were 56 patients with gestational rhinitis. After admission, they were randomly divided into a control group(n=28)and an experimental group(n=28)using a random number table method. They were treated with saline nasal irrigation and hypertonic saline nasal irrigation, respectively, and the treatment effects were compared.Result The study was conducted from January 2022 to December 2022.The overall treatment effectiveness rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group; The experimental group had lower symptoms of nasal congestion and runny nose compared to the control group, and the comparison was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference in symptom scores between the two groups before treatment intervention was small, and the comparison was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion The use of hypertonic saline nasal irrigation method in the treatment of gestational rhinitis can effectively improve the symptoms of rhinitis, avoid excessive wheezing and suffocation in patients, and will not affect the growth and development of the fetus. It is worthy of clinical adoption and promotion.
