Abstract:Objective To explore the low and high frequency characteristics of vestibular vertigo. Methods Clinical data of 87 patients with vestibular vertigo were retrospectively analyzed by CaT and vHIT examination. Results Among the 50 patients with sudden hearing loss with vertigo 70.0%were abnormal detection,58.0%and 38.0%showed abnormal CaT and vHIT respectively.Among the 15 patients with Meniere's disease 66.7%were abnormal detection,60.0%and 26.7%showed abnormal CaT and vHIT respectively.Among the 19 patients with BPPV 36.8%were abnormal detection,36.8%and 5.1%showed abnormal CaT and vHIT respectively.Among the 3 patients with vestibular neuritis 100%were abnormal detection,100%and 66.7%showed abnormal CaT and vHIT respectively. Conclusion Different frequency dysfunctions were found in vestibular vertigo.Combined CaT and vHIT examination can improve evaluating vestibular function and help guiding further treatment.
