Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of endoscopic combined with low-temperature plasma therapy for pediatric snoring.Method 200 pediatric snoring patients treated in our hospital from July 2020 to July 2023 were randomly divided into two groups. The control group received endoscopic nasal dynamic system combined with unipolar oral adenoidectomy, while the observation group received endoscopic low-temperature plasma oral adenoidectomy. The clinical efficacy and complications, surgical indicators, inflammatory and oxidative stress factors, sleep and respiratory indicators of the two groups were compared.Result The effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 97.00%,significantly higher than 80.00%in the control group, and the incidence of complications was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05);The observation group had shorter surgical time, intraoperative bleeding volume, hospital stay, and symptom relief time than the control group(P<0.05);IL-4,IL-8,TNF in the observation group 3 days after surgery-α、MDA was lower than that of the control group, while SOD was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);The AHI of the observation group at 3 months after surgery was lower than that of the control group, while the QSQ score and LSaO2 were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of endoscopic combined with low-temperature plasma treatment for pediatric snoring is significant, which can effectively alleviate symptoms, reduce inflammation and stress reactions, and improve the quality of rehabilitation.
