Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of montelukast sodium combined with androsteine hydrochloride on symptom relief time, vascular cell adhesion molecule-1(VCAM-1)level and Rhinoconjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire(RQLQ)score in patients with allergic dermatitis. Methods 94 patients with allergic rhinitis admitted to our hospital from February 2021 February 2023 were randomly divided into control group and study group, and the control group was treated with androsteine hydrochloride, and the study group was treated with montelukast sodium on the basis of the former, the total effective rate, symptom relief time, serum VCAM-1,interleukin-4(IL-4)levels,serum specific immunoglobulin E(IgE),RQLQ score and the incidence of adverse reactions were observed and compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of the study group was 91.49%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(72.34%)(P<0.05).After treatment, the relief time of nasal itch, nasal obstruction and runny nose in the two groups was significantly shorter(P<0.05),and the study group was significantly lower than the control group. After treatment, the levels of VCAM-1,IL-4,specific IgE and RQLQ score in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and those in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 8.51%,which was lower than that in the control group(17.21%),while there was no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusions The combination of montelukast sodium and androsteine hydrochloride in the treatment of allergic rhinitis can reduce the levels of VCAM-1 and IL-4 in serum and the RQLQ score of patients, improve the clinical symptoms of patients quickly, and is more safe and effective, which is worth clinical application.
