Abstract:Objective To study the effect of low temperature plasma surgery on children with adenoid hypertrophy of tonsil. Methods A total of 72 children with tonsil hyperplasia and adenoid hyperplasia were included from January 2021 to May 2023.The reference group(36 cases)underwent routine resection, while the low-temperature plasma operation group(36 cases)underwent low-temperature plasma surgery. The contrast effect. Results The low temperature plasma surgery group had better surgical indexes, higher total effective rate and lower complication rate(p<0.05).The levels of serum TNF-α,IL-4,norepinephrine(NE),prostaglandin E2(PGE2),pain(NRS)score and CD8+in the low temperature plasma surgery group were lower 24h after operation(p<0.05).24h after surgery, the comfort level(BCS)score,CD3+and CD4+levels in the low temperature plasma surgery group were higher(p<0.05).Conclusion Low temperature plasma surgery is a better treatment for children with tonsil and adenoid hypertrophy. It can improve inflammation and stress response more effectively, reduce pain, improve comfort, avoid damaging immune function, and make the operation safer.
