Clinical effect of endoscopic sinus surgery in the treatment of chronic sinusitis

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of endoscopic sinus surgery on patients with chronic sinusitis.Methods 120 patients with sinusitis treated in our hospital were selected from January 1,2018 to December,2019,and divided into control group and experimental group by random arrangement,with 60 cases in each group.The control group received conventional operation,and the experimental group received nasal endoscopic operation.The efficacy,perioperative indexes,recurrence and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Results Compared with the experimental group,the therapeutic effect was better,P<0.05;Perioperative indexes of experimental groups were lower,P<0.05;The recurrence times of experimental group were less and the recovery was good(P<0.05).The life quality of experimental group was higher(P<0.05).Conclusion Endoscopic sinus surgery for patients with chronic sinusitis can play a very high curative effect,reduce recurrence and various complex postoperative complications,and this surgical method is worthy of promotion and use.
