Effect of Mahuang Fuzi Xixin Tang on Serum Thl and Th2 Cytokines in Children with Allergic Rhinitis

Abstract：Objective To study the intervention effect of Mahuang fuzi xixin decoction on serum Th1 and Th2 levels in children with allergic rhinitis.Methods Ninety-four children with allergic rhinitis were enrolled from June 2020 to June 2022.They were randomly divided into two groups:control group(N=47)treated with routine Western medicine and experimental group(N=47)treated with Mahuang Fuzi Xixin decoction for foot massage,the effect of intergroup intervention was observed.Results Compared with the control group,the total effective rate,the serum levels of IFN-γ and the ratio of IFN-γ/IL-4 were higher and the levels of IL-4 were lower in the experimental group(P<0.05).Conclusion Mahuang Fuzi Xixin decoction can regulate the expression of Th1 and Th2 cytokines,correct the imbalance of Th1 and Th2 cytokine network,and then treat the allergic nose.
