Abstract:Objective To compare the postoperative pain and complications of suture method after endoscopic Nasal septum correction and traditional packing method after Nasal septum correction. Methods The subjects of this study were 126 patients with Nasal septum deviation who were admitted to our otorhinolaryngology department from January 2021 to April 2023.They were randomly divided into two groups,63 cases in each group. The control group was treated with traditional endoscopic Nasal septum correction, and the observation group was treated with endoscopic Nasal septum correction, and the clinical efficacy, postoperative bleeding, pain, and complication rate of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 98.41%,which was significantly higher than the control group of 87.30%(P<0.05);Compared with the control group, the observation group had shorter hospital stays, less surgical bleeding, and lower postoperative VAS scores at 24 hours(P<0.001);The incidence of complications in the observation group was 3.17%,significantly lower than the control group of 15.87%(P<0.05).Conclusion The suture method after Nasal septum correction by nasal endoscope is more effective, with fewer postoperative complications, less pain, and more worthy of popularization.
