Abstract:Objective To explore the curative effect of budesonide and its effect on olfactory function and inflammatory factor level. Methods 60 patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps admitted from January 2019 to November 2022 were selected.According to the random number table method,it was divided into observation group(n=30 cases, treated with budesonide nasal spray to the control group)and control group(n=30 cases, treated with nasal endoscopic surgery),and both groups were observed until 12 weeks after surgery.Clinical efficacy, olfactory function, and inflammatory factor levels were compared between the two groups. Results The total clinical response rate of the observation group was 96.66%(29/30),Higher than that in the control group,Statistical difference(P<0.05);post-treatment,Observation group odor recognition ability(13.57±1.62),odor discrimination ability(13.89±1.24),odor sensory threshold(13.84±0.87)and total score(41.58±2.32),Higher than that in the control group,TNF-α(TNF-α)(115.42±8.98)pg/mL,interleukin-6(IL-6)(13.49±2.18)pg/mL,Lower than that in the control group,There were statistical differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Budesonide uses nasal endoscopy and can improve olfactory function and inflammatory factors.
