Nursing effect of comprehensive treatment on congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction in children

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of nursing intervention in the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction.Methods From June 2020 to June 2022,56 children with congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction were divided into two groups according to different nursing methods,38 cases in the experimental group were assisted with holistic nursing,and the related indexes such as quality of life,complications and satisfaction of family members were compared.Results 1 quality of life:the scores of physiological/social/role function and other factors in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(p<0.05)2 complications:the incidence of lacrimal dot tear and secondary infection in the experimental group was 0%(0/28),3 satisfaction degree of family members:Satisfaction Degree of family members,such as health education and service attitude,was higher in the experimental group than in the control group(p<0.05);4 nursing effect:the nursing effect of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(p<0.05).Conclusion The effect of holistic nursing in the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction is remarkable,which can improve the symptoms,avoid the related complications,improve the quality of life and the satisfaction of family members.
