Effect of systemic nursing on patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps undergoing endoscopic surgery and its influence on prognosis

Abstract:Objective To discuss the effect and prognosis of systemic nursing for patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps undergoing endoscopic surgery.Methods A total of 104 patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps undergoing endoscopic surgery received diagnosis and treatment from January 2020 to November 2022,and were randomly divided into control group(52 cases)(routine nursing)and study group(52 cases)(systematic nursing).Outcome measures:clinical effect,psychological state and pain degree,postoperative complication rate,recurrence rate within 6 months after postoperative follow-up.Results The total effective rate of 96.15%in the study group was significantly higher than 84.62%in the control group,P<0.05.After nursing,the score indexes of mental state and pain degree in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group,P<0.05.The incidence of postoperative complications in the study group(3.85%)was significantly lower than that in the control group(19.23%),P<0.05.The recurrence rate of the study group within 6 months was significantly lower than that of the control group(9.62%),P<0.05.Conclusion Systematic nursing for patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyp endoscopic surgery can enhance the therapeutic effect,improve physical and mental comfort,reduce complications and recurrence rate.
