Analysis of the influence of comfort care on the use of analgesic drugs for radioactive pharyngitis after radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma

Abstract：Objective To analyze the effect of comfort nursing mode in the nursing of patients with radioactive pharyngitis after radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal cancer,and its influence on the use of analgesic drugs in patients.Methods A total of 52 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma with radiation pharyngitis after radiotherapy admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to October 2022 were randomly divided into 2 groups.Patients in the observation group(n=26)received comfort nursing,and patients in the control group(n=26)received routine nursing.The implementation effect of the nursing program was evaluated according to the nursing indexes of the two groups.Results The proportion of patients using analgesic drugs in observation group was lower than control group,pain score was lower than control group,nursing satisfaction data was higher than control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion During the nursing intervention of patients with radioactive pharyngitis after radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal cancer,comfort nursing mode can significantly relieve the physical pain of patients and reduce the use of pain drugs for patients,which is worth promoting.
