The nursing effect of comprehensive nursing intervention mode in the perioperative period of thyroid cancer patients undergoing radical surgery

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the enthusiasm of comprehensive nursing interventions in the perioperative period for thyroid cancer patients undergoing radical surgery.Method A study was conducted on 80 thyroid cancer patients from our hospital(February 2021 to February 2023),who were divided into groups based on the principle of matching basic data(40 cases in each group).The control group received routine nursing care during the perioperative period,while the observation group received comprehensive nursing intervention.Result Compared with the control group,the observation group had shorter time to get out of bed and stay in hospital,and had lower VAS scores(P＜0.05).Compared with the 7.50％incidence of postoperative adverse reactions in the observation group,the incidence rate in the control group was as high as 25.00％(P＜0.05).After nursing,the observation group had higher values for various comfort indicators such as environmental,physiological,and psychological well-being(P＜0.05).Conclusion For thyroid cancer patients undergoing radical surgery,comprehensive nursing intervention during the perioperative period has a significant effect,which can reduce the incidence of postoperative adverse reactions,improve patient comfort,and promote their recovery and discharge as soon as possible.
