Abstract:Objective To discuss the clinical effect of Tanreqing in patients with acute upper respiratory tract infection. Methods A total of 52 patients with acute upper respiratory tract infection received diagnosis and treatment from October 2022 to June 2023,and were divided into control group(26 cases)and study group(26 cases)by randomized balanced sequential method. The control group received conventional treatment, and the study group received Tanreqing treatment on the basis of the control group.Patients in both groups received treatment for a total of 7 days. After completing the above indexes, the efficacy was evaluated, the level of inflammatory factors was detected, and the treatment time was counted. Results The total effective rate of 96.15%in the study group was significantly higher than that of 76.92%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the levels of inflammatory factors between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After 7 days of treatment, the levels of procalcitonin, hypersensitive C-reactive protein and interleukin-6 inflammatory factor in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The duration of fever, nasal congestion or runny nose, swollen tonsils and cough in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of Tanreqing in patients with acute upper respiratory tract infection is effective, which can reduce the level of inflammatory factors and shorten the treatment time.
