Abstract:Objective To explore whether narrowband imaging(NarrowbandImaging,NBI)can more accurately judge the benign and malignant tumors of nasopharynx. Methods From September 2021 to March 2023,patients with nasopharyngeal tumors were examined and biopsied by electronic endoscope with NBI mode. The white light mode and NBI mode were compared and analyzed, and the recognition ability of nasopharyngeal lesions was observed by the combination of the two modes. Results The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of white light mode and NBI mode in the diagnosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma were 95.52%,92.06%,92.75%and 95.08%respectively.The accuracy was 95.30%.After comparison, there were statistical differences in sensitivity, negative predictive value and accuracy. Conclusion The combination of white light mode and NBI mode can more accurately judge the benign and malignant nasopharyngeal tumors, and has more advantages in sensitivity, negative predictive value and accuracy.
