Abstract:Objective To evaluate the clinical value and efficacy of ultrasound-guided microwave ablation in the treatment of thyroid nodules. Methods Cases were selected from June 2021 to June 2022.A project study was carried out on 138 patients with thyroid nodule admitted to our hospital. The patients were evenly divided into two groups(experimental group and control group)by using numerical random table method, and 69 patients were included in one group. The control group was treated with conventional surgical resection, and the experimental group was treated with acoustic guided microwave ablation. The inflammatory stress response, thyroid function and complication rate were analyzed. Results The total complication rate of the experimental group was 1.45%lower than that of the control group 10.15%.There was no significant difference in inflammatory stress response and thyroid function between the two groups before surgery(P>0.05).The inflammatory stress response of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group 12 hours after surgery, and the thyroid function evaluation results of the experimental group were better than that of the control group 3 months after surgery. The calculated data showed that P<0.05.Conclusions Ultrasound-guided microwave ablation for thyroid nodules can effectively reduce inflammatory stress response in patients, and has relatively little impact on thyroid function. The incidence of complications in patients is low,and the overall clinical effect is significant, which is worth popularizing and implementing.
