Effectiveness analysis of holographic acupuncture combined with periauricular acupuncture in the treatment of neurological deafness

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of holographic acupuncture plus periauricular acupuncture in patients with neuropathic deafness(ND).Method 56 cases of ND patients from February 2021 to June 2022 were included and divided into control group(28 cases included and received conventional Western medicine treatment)and observation group(28 cases included and received holographic acupuncture+periauricular acupuncture treatment)according to random number table method.To evaluate intergroup treatment response rate,hearing function,and World Health Organization Quality of Life Inventory(WHOQOL-BREF).Results(1)Compared with the control group(78.57％),the effective rate of observation group(96.43％)was higher,P＜0.05;(2)Before treatment,there were no differences in hearing function(PTA,ABR)and WHOQOL-BREF(social domain,physiological domain,psychological domain)scores between groups,P＞0.05;After 4 weeks of treatment,the hearing function(PTA,ABR)of the observation group was lower,and the WHOQOL-BREF(social domain,physiological domain,psychological domain)score was higher,P＜0.05.Conclusion Holographic acupuncture+periauricular acupuncture treatment for ND patients can improve the effective rate of treatment,restore hearing as soon as possible,improve the quality of life,it is worth promoting.
