Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of swallowing rehabilitation training combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation on swallowing function in patients with swallowing disorders after stroke.Method 70 patients with swallowing disorders after stroke who received treatment at our hospital from November 2021 to November 2022 were selected. All patients were randomly divided into a study group and a control group using a random number table method.35 patients in the study group received swallowing rehabilitation training combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation, while 35 patients in the control group received swallowing rehabilitation training. The differences between the two groups after treatment were compared.Result The swallowing function of the study group patients. The complications and other indicators were lower than those of the conventional group(P<0.05),and the mobility of the hyoid laryngeal complex, such as hyoid bone upward movement and hyoid bone forward movement, was higher in the study group than in the conventional group(p<0.05).There was no significant difference in indicators such as thyroid cartilage upward movement and thyroid cartilage forward movement between the two groups(p>0.05).Conclusion The combination of swallowing rehabilitation training and neuromuscular electrical stimulation for patients with swallowing disorders after stroke has a significant clinical effect and is worthy of widespread clinical application.
