A comparative analysis of the recent effects of topical and systemic hormones on the treatment of sudden deafness and tinnitus

Abstract:Objective To study the effect of topical hormone and systemic hormone therapy in patients with sudden deafness and tinnitus.Methods 156 patients were randomly selected and divided into control group(78 cases,systemic applied hormone)and observation group(78 cases,local applied hormone)to compare the two groups.Results The hearing threshold and sleep quality in the observation group were significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).The treatment response rate of the observation group(97.44%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(83.33%)(P<0.05).The adverse reaction rate of the observed group(3.84%)of the observed group and the control group(3.85%)(P>0.05).Conclusion For patients with sudden deafness and tinnitus,local hormone therapy can improve the efficacy,quickly restore the hearing threshold,improve the sleep of patients,and have high safety.
