The value of color Doppler ultrasound in diagnosis and treatment of thyroid tumors

Abstract：Objective To study the role and value of color Doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid tumors.Methods Eighty patients with suspected thyroid tumors admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to January 2022 were selected as the study subjects.All the study subjects received color Doppler ultrasound and surgical pathology.The results of surgical pathology were used as the gold standard to analyze and compare the results of color Doppler ultrasound and surgical pathology in the diagnosis of thyroid tumors.Results ① Through sorting and analysis,the detection rate of color Doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of thyroid tumors was 100.00％,but the accuracy rate in the diagnosis of benign thyroid tumors was 94.64％,the accuracy rate in the diagnosis of malignant thyroid tumors was 88.89％,and the sensitivity,specificity and accuracy in the diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid tumors were 72.14％,70.83％and 78.75％respectively;② By comparing the results of color Doppler ultrasound and surgical pathology in the diagnosis of thyroid tumors,it was found that there was no significant difference in the accuracy of the two examination methods(P＞0.05);③ By comparing various hemodynamic indexes of patients with benign and malignant thyroid tumors,it was found that the peak systolic flow rate and resistance index of patients with benign thyroid tumors were lower than those of patients with malignant thyroid tumors,while the end diastolic flow rate was higher than those of patients with malignant thyroid tumors,P＜0.05.Conclusion Color Doppler ultrasound has a better effect in the diagnosis of thyroid tumors.It can identify benign and malignant thyroid tumors more accurately by analyzing the tumor hemodynamic indicators of patients,so as to provide more diagnosis and treatment information for doctors,thus contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of patients,with high application value.
