Clinical observation on the effect of tympanoplasty under otoendoscope and microscope

Abstract：Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of tympanoplasty under otoendoscope and microscope.Methods 64 patients with tympanic membrane perforation admitted in our hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were randomly divided into reference group(tympanic membrane repair under microscope)and experimental group(tympanic membrane repair under ear endoscope)according to the computer,with 32 cases in each group.The therapeutic effects,pain scores,complications,hearing and clinical indicators before and after treatment were compared.Results The effective rate of the experimental group was 96.88%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in pain scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05);After treatment,the experimental group was significantly lower than the control group(P;The incidence rate of the experimental group was 6.25%,which was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in hearing between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05);After treatment,the experimental group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Tympanoplasty under otoendoscope can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients,with good repair effect,pain relief,high safety,and speed up the recovery of hearing and health of patients.
