Abstract:Objective To evaluate the efficacy of low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation(RFA)in patients with early glottic laryngeal carcinoma(EGC).Methods Fifty patients with EGC from January 2017 to December 2021 were included and divided into control group(25 patients included, receiving vertical hemilaryngectomy)and observation group(25 patients included, receiving RFA)according to random number table method.Inter-group disease control rate(DCR),treatment-related parameters, voice function, and postoperative complications were evaluated.Results(1)Compared with the control group, the observation group had higher DCR,better parameters related to treatment, and fewer postoperative complications,P<0.05;(2)Before surgery, there were no differences in amplitude perturbation, harmonic to noise ratio and fundamental frequency between groups(P>0.05).One month after operation, the amplitude perturbation and fundamental frequency were lower and the harmonic to noise ratio was higher in the observation group(P<0.05).Conclusion RFA in patients with EGC can improve efficacy, reduce complications, improve voice function and related indexes of surgery, which is worth promoting.
