Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of nasal septum deviation correction combined with plasma radiofrequency ablation in patients with allergic rhinitis and nasal septum deviation. Methods 103 patients with allergic rhinitis complicated with nasal septum deviation admitted to our hospital from October 2021 to September 2022 were selected and divided into the study group(52 cases)and the control group(51 cases)according to the random number table of grouping tools. The patients in the control group received correction of nasal septum deviation, while the patients in the study group received plasma radiofrequency ablation on the basis of correction of nasal septum deviation.Compared the clinical efficacy, inflammatory factors[serum interleukin-8 and interleukin-6],nasal resistance values, and postoperative complications between the two groups.Result In the comparison of the total effective rate between the two groups, the research group showed a higher result than the control group(P<0.05).The levels of IL-8 and IL-6 in the study group were lower than those in the control group one month after surgery(P<0.05).The total expiratory resistance and total inspiratory resistance values of the study group were lower than those of the control group at 1 month after surgery on both sides(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in postoperative complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Nasal septum deflection correction combined with plasma radiofrequency ablation has significant application effect in patients with allergic rhinitis and nasal septum deflection, which can alleviate their inflammatory reaction and nasal resistance, and has better safety, and is suitable for clinical promotion.
