Efficacy and safety of nasal endoscopic surgery combined with nasal spray therapy in patients with sinusitis

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of nasal endoscopic surgery combined with nasal spray therapy in the treatment of sinusitis.Methods From January 2019 to June 2022,70 patients with nasal sinusitis underwent endoscopic sinus surgery,they were randomly divided into control group(N=35)and treatment group(N=35).The control group was treated with traditional operation combined with common seawater,and the treatment group was treated with endoscopic surgery combined with nasal spray therapy.The therapeutic effects and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 97.14%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(82.86%,p<0.05),and the scores of dysosmia,nasal obstruction,facial pain and runny nose in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(p<0.05)The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group(5.71%)was lower than that in the control group(25.71%)(p<0.05).Conclusion Endoscopic sinus surgery combined with nasal spray therapy is an effective method for the treatment of sinusitis.It can effectively improve the symptoms,sinus opening and nasal mucosa condition,and reduce postoperative pain and adverse reactions,the safety is good,it is worthy of clinical reference.
