Abstract:Objective To study the value of betahistine mesylate tablets in the treatment of residual dizziness in patients with otolith reduction.Method The experiment involved 50 patients with residual dizziness after otolith reduction from October 2021 to October 2023.They were randomly divided into a control group receiving conventional manual reduction treatment, and an observation group receiving a combination of betamethasone mesylate tablets.Result(1)The clinical efficacy and treatment safety(with a lower incidence of adverse reactions)of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).(2)After treatment, the observation group had a shorter duration of dizziness, fewer episodes, and a more significant improvement in dizziness symptoms and disorders in patients(P<0.05).Conclusion On the basis of conventional manual reduction, taking betahistine mesylate tablets has a significant effect on treating residual dizziness after otolith reduction. It can improve the therapeutic effect, ensure treatment safety, and actively improve the patient's dizziness symptoms and vertigo disorders.
